Depending on your geographical location in the world, the Cardinals of the Catholic Church will gather today in the Conclave to begin the process of choosing the successor of St. Peter and Pope Benedict XVI. If you are not aware of all the news and events surrounding the Conclave, get out under the rock where you have been hiding, and get to a computer and check out all the exciting information that is to be had on the Conclave and the election of the new Pope.

One thing is for sure tonight; the WHOLE WORLD is waiting for the words – Habemus Papam to be shouted from the balcony of St. Peter’s Basilica. The whole world is focused on the Catholic Church!

There are many news media and social media outlets that will present the news on the new Pope, but here are a few that I will use during the Conclave –

First, one of my favorites and something that is so creative – PopeAlarm.Com – it was created by the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (the Aussie Catholics also have one too now).

Second, a great source of Catholic News all the time is Catholic Vote and they have also developed the site – NamethePope.com.

The one guy everybody MUST follow is Rocco Palmo at Whispers in the Loggia. He is the “Father of Catholic Bloggers” and must either be a secret agent or he actually converses (like Stephen from Braveheart) with the Almighty on a daily basis. He knows everything before it happens! When that white smoke is in the chimney about to come out the top – check Rocco’s blog!

Fourth, a friend and priest for the Diocese of Phoenix (Parochial Vicar of the Arizona State University Newman Center), Fr. John Muir is tweeting from his handle – @Fr_JMuir and posting from his blog – undoingthefall.blogspot.com.

Next, I will focus my attention on Fr. Robert Barron and his website and video updates on Word on Fire. Fr. Barron will be appearing on the NBC news outlets and bringing much needed objective and correct teachings on the Conclave and the Catholic Church in general. Pray for him!

Fifth, another great site for videos and updates is Rome Reports. They provide quick updates with good news.

And last, Conclave…there’s an App for that! You can download the Conclave App for your either a Droid or IPhone. Receive Live Video, News, Twitter feeds, Bios on the Cardinals, Resources, and just learn more. “Conclave” is brought to you by Verbum – Logos Bible Software (there is an app for that too!).

So now that I have given you my Conclave resources, let’s get this divine providence on the road. Remember to PRAY, PRAY, PRAY TO OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST and…

PRAY THE ROSARY,

LIGHT A CANDLE AND PRAY FOR THE CARDINALS IN ROME,

AND GET YOUR CONCLAVE ON!!!
