Please offer up a prayer in union with Pope Francis and the Eastern Churches for those being hurt by the lack of peace in the Middle East, especially our fellow Christians in Syria, Egypt, and all countries where Christians are persecuted. As Western Catholics, we must be united with not only our Eastern Catholic brothers and sisters, but our brothers and sisters in the Orthodox Churches as well.

When you attend Holy Mass or Divine Liturgy, when you pray the Holy Rosary or the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, offer up our fellow Christians in the Middle East that they may be protected by Jesus Christ in Union with His Most Blessed Mother, the Theotokos, and union with all the Saints and Angels in Heaven.
