Larry – Thank you for your comments. In your mind, what is “more relevant, more basic, not so over-the-top, less like nagging” adult faith formation/radio programming look like? Yesterday’s interview was basic information on the four Doctors of the Church. The Doctors are important for Catholics to know. They give us so much! My other interview’s have been basic as well. I try not keep my interviews to the basic notions of the faith so the average Catholic in the pew can understand it.
You mention in your comment that “the Church seems to be dividing itself into two parts” – what is the second part? You only write about one part. If you grew up in the 70s’s and actually know your faith, that’s great, but in my experience that is not the case at all with many individuals. I have spoken to many people, some very recent, who were raised in the 70’s and 80’s who have said they did not learn anything about their faith.
Not sure what you mean that many people don’t know about the local Phoenix Catholic station. Again, I know many good faithful people who are aware of the station and listen to it often.
If you decide to respond to this comment, and I hope you do, please know that beginning tonight I am very busy. It might take a few days to respond to your comment.
In Christ through Mary! Happy Thanksgiving!
I did not delete it. I just have not approved it yet. I will approve it when I have time to reply to it, Larry. Your assumption with this is as poor as your assumptions in your comment I have not approved. Stop complaining, brother! (James 5:7-10 – Third Sunday of Advent 2013). I have full-time job at one of the parishes here in Phoenix. As much as getting back to you is important to me, my job must come first. I think you would understand that. You want my support? I will support you.
By the way, I am not an “inspiring media type” as you assume. My goal is get people into Heaven. That’s it! How do we do that? Through Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church.
