It’s been just over 5 months since I have written anything on my website/blog. There are a lot of reasons why that’s been the case – the main reason is that I just don’t have the time. By the time I arrive home from work, I just want to spend every moment with my wife and sons. I cherish the moments when my boys ask me to play with cars or magna-tiles on the floor. The thought of writing at the late hours of the night really does not have the appeal it once did, although I am writing this blog post around 11:00pm.

I am writing this post at this time of the hour because I want to share with you some good news. Recently, I was notified that I was approved to be a monthly contributor with the Catholic website, Catholic365.com, where I will write at least four times a month. Although I enjoy writing and have been doing it on this website since January 2012, an incentive to write for them is that I will receive compensation for my articles. The compensation is based on article performance. The more readers, the more compensation. At a time when finances seem to be tight for most of us, any little extra helps.

I still plan to write on this website/blog, but a lot of my attention will turn to Catholic365.com. It is my hope that I will return soon to writing every Monday for my series, “Mondays with Mary.” For those of you who have been following me here over the years, I want to say thank you. I appreciate the prayers and support.

I have already written my first article which was published tonight. It is titled The book every new (and seasoned) Catholic should have in their personal library. I hope that you will head over to Catholic365.com to read this article and more of my monthly contributions that will publish soon.
