Today, October 22, we celebrate the memorial of the great Polish Pope of the 20^th century, John Paul II. He was theological and prayer titan whose words and influence will be felt on the Catholic Church for decades to come. I know that one day we will list him among the great Doctors of the Church, and he will also hold the title – John Paul the Great.

If there was a time when we needed his intercession, it is now! My family always asks for his intercession during our night time prayers. He is one of our go to saints for big decisions, plus I am a huge JP2 fan as you can see clearly from this website.

There is so much confusion within the Catholic Church today, especially within the Vatican itself. I implore you to pray to him and ask that the Catholic Church does not endure another schism. There are small rumblings of it happening around the globe. We must also ask Our Lord, the head of the Church to fight for his body here on earth. John Paul was a great unifier for us as Catholics. Just look at the World Youth Day celebrations, an event that started among the youth of Rome and then spread throughout the world.
