With the Thanksgiving holiday on the calendar here in the United States this week, I wanted to provide for you some articles that I have written in the past about the Eucharist and Our Lady’s relationship with Jesus in this sacrament. For Catholics, we have the opportunity every day for “thanksgiving.” Every day we can go to Mass and receive Our Lord Jesus Christ – body, blood, soul, and divinity. The term Eucharist (Latin – eucharistia) literally means “thanksgiving.” And as faithful Catholics always looking to increase our love and devotion with Our Lord; the best way to do this is to go his Mother and allow her to lead us closer to Him. Mary’s relationship with the Eucharist should not only be a witness but also an example of how to grow closer to Jesus in the “Sacrament of all Sacraments.”
